As reported on 48 hours on February 26, 2005, the
abduction of teenage girls in Romania, and here in the
United States is a growing epidemic. In Lies &
Deceptions, follow Beverly Hills P.I. Sammy Jo White, as
she steps into a world of darkness where the abduction
of young girls is at the heart of her investigation.
SYNOPSIS:
Beverly Hills P.I. Sammy Joe White, aka Sam, is gorgeous, smart, and as fit as an Olympic athlete,
but it's her incredible tenacity and perseverance, and sometimes lack of using common sense, that
ultimately help to get the job done. Raised by her father, Hal, a retired police officer, and her brother,
Tony, currently an agent for the DEA, Sam was destined to get into law enforcement. It was after
realizing she couldn't handle the bureaucracy, and the fact that she has a tendency to speak her
mind, that she chose the path of the P.I.
Hired by the owner of a well-known talent agency in Beverly Hills, to find proof that her husband was
cheating on her, among other things, Sam soon found out something far more sinister was going on.
When her college roommate was murdered, and she received a package in the mail with telling
photos inside, Sam realized she stepped into a world of lies and deceptions. Is somebody actually
kidnapping young girls?
Determined to fulfill the obligation to her client, Sam went on the offensive to find the proof her
client needed. When the man she was supposed to be investigating turned up dead, and Sam wound
up on the list of suspects, she started to believe the two cases might be related. With the help of her
ex-boyfriend, Detective John Barone, of the Beverly Hills Police Department, they set out to find the
missing link. What they found was a world run by Russian mobsters and rogue cops...
"I was married to a terrorist, only I never knew..."
Those were the words uttered by an American woman living
in a middle-class suburban neighborhood, after her husband
was arrested, along with several others, for planning a
major attack against the United States.
How many other terrorists are living among us?
In Diversionary Tactics, Beverly Hills P.I., Sammy Jo White, aka Sam, finds herself on a mission of
life and death—of hundreds, if not thousands of innocent American citizens…
Chris Girardi, a nineteen-year old American citizen, was arrested at the Islamabad Airport in
Pakistan, accused of smuggling Opium, by hiding the drugs inside the beads of Persian Rugs and
exotic teas he was hired to transport to the United States. Chris professed to be innocent, saying
he didn't know about the drugs, and his mother, Gayle Girardi, believed his only crime was being
naive.
Sam's job was to find Taj, the alleged Armenian man who hired Chris to transport the goods, and
persuade him to tell the truth, and admit that Chris had no knowledge of the drugs. Not an easy
thing to do, since Taj wasn't his real name. The DEA, who was supposed to be investigating the
case, was short on manpower, and also lacked the resolve to pursue Taj, since they assumed
Chris to be guilty. To them the case wasn't a priority. To Chris Girardi however, time was critical.
In Pakistan, drug smuggling was considered to be one of the worst crimes, the punishment
severe. While Chris was squandering away in a Pakistani prison ripe with putrid conditions, and
awaiting sentencing; Taliban and Al Qaeda members, who were also inside the jail, were plotting
ways to have him killed just because he was an American. After Sam found Taj, and agreed to turn
him over to the DEA Agent in charge of the case, she found herself and anyone close to her, on
the hit list of local terrorists.
What Sam uncovered during her search for Taj, convinced her that Taj wasn't just an ordinary
drug smuggler trying to make a profit. He was part of a group, responsible for financing the
recruitment and training of individuals with the intention of carrying out a terrorist attack,
claiming to be an Islamic group while diverting attention from their real identities, and at the
same time, keeping law enforcement from learning the real target.
Now, it was up to Sam, and her new friends at the DEA, to put together a task force and stop the
attacks, before hundreds of innocent Americans were killed. And if fighting terrorists wasn't
enough; Sam also had to deal with the petty jealousies of her ex-boyfriend, Detective John
Barone. Now that she was determined to move on with her life, and open up her heart to
someone new, Barone was doing everything possible to win her back...

Kyra was nicknamed after her father, Terrence “Hotshot” Ray, an air force pilot shot down in the

his watchful eye, Kyra spent her teen years at a private academy up in the Blue Ridge

honed and crafted. Filled with an inner anger and passion over the death of her parents, Kyra

assassin with a secret past of his own…

While tracking the assassin who killed her handler, a
junior spy stumbles onto the head of a crime syndicates’
plot to take out dignitaries while attending peace talks for
